Astebreed is the next generation doujin shooting game from Edelweiss and the spiritual succesor of Ether Vapor series. A high definition Sci-Fi bullet hell shooter similar to Natsume's Omega Five (Xbox Live Marketplace, 2008). The game was developed using all new Marmoset engine, which make it capable of displaying higher resolution and richer effects. The C83 version is the 3rd trial and comes with additional playable stages. In Astebreed player will control a super mecha fighter with shooting ability, lock on target and melee sword attack. Also, the camera movements will be more dynamic and creates cinematic events that surpass Ether Vapor Remaster. While the final release is still not confirmed, the game is currently set to be localized for a western audience sometime in the middle of 2013. Game Information
